Purpose

The purpose of this blog is to explore Brazilian culture a little further and to hopefully gain some insights that were previously unknown before investigating this blog.

Coconuts are very popular in Brazil. You can buy one from a street vendor for about 15 American cents. The vendor will often pull out a machete and chop a hole in the top of the coconut, stick a straw in and give then it to you. If you want the coconut meat inside after drinking all the coconut water, you can ask the vendor to cut it open with his machete and you can scoop it out with your hands or with a peice of the coconut wood. Coconut water was said to be very nutrious. If you ever were sick, any Brazilian would tell you that you should drink coconut water, it will make you feel better. It is very sweet and very delicious!
